一、3个陆军司令部（Army command(ACOM)）
◆是由上将领导的军种司令部，均为战力生成的一部分（ACOMs are four-star Service commands.All Army commands are part of the generating force）
◆如，陆军训练与条令司令部，陆军军备司令部，陆军部队司令部（TRADOC,AMC,FORSCOM）
二、10个直接报告部队（Direct reporting unit(DRU)）
◆是在陆军部之下由少将或中将领导的司令部，作为战力生成的一部分，主要满足陆军的独特需求（A DRU is a two- or three-star command under the Department of the Army.DRUs fulfill unique Army requirements as part of the generating force）
◆如，网络司令部，陆军情报与安全司令部，陆军工程兵（NETCOM,INSCOM,USACE）
三、8个陆军军种组成司令部（Army Service component command(ASCC)）
◆包括5个战区的5个陆军军种组成司令部，以及3个位于专业战区总部之下（The ASCC for each geographic combatant command is a theater army(5).There are three ASCCs for the functional combatant commands）
◆如，中央战区陆军组成司令部，地面部署与分发司令部（USARCENT,SDDC）
四、1个集团军（Field Army）
◆在战役及大规模行动中，1个集团军辖2个或多个军，第8集团军是驻韩美军的高级陆军组成司令部，也是太平洋总部的下级联合司令部（A field army commands two or more corps in campaigns and major operations.EUSA is the ARFOR for U.S. Forces Korea,a subunified command of U.S. Pacific Command）
◆第8集团军是唯一的集团军（Eighth U.S. Army(EUSA) is the only field army）
五、1个其他陆军军种组成司令部（Other Army Service components）
◆是美军网络空间司令部下的军种组成司令部，也是美军战略司令部的下级联合司令部（Other Army Service components may be a service component of USCYBERCOM,a subunified command of USSTRATCOM）
◆如，陆军网络空间司令部（USARCYBER）
六、42个战区级司令部（Command）
◆负责指挥专业旅，为任务区部署的陆军部队提供支持（A command is a theater-level headquarters that commands functional brigades and provides support to deployed Army forces across the area of responsibility）
◆如，陆军防空反导司令部，医疗司令部（部署支持）（AAMDC,MEDCOM(DS)）
七、3个军司令部（Corps headquarters）
◆是陆军主要的行动层级司令部，每个军负责师的训练与战备（A corps headquarters is the Army's primary operational-level headquarters.Each corps has training and readiness responsibilities for Army divisions）
◆如，第1军，第3军，第18军（1 Corps,III Corps,XVIII Corps）
八、18个师（Division）
◆是陆军主要的战术层级司令部，每个师负责旅战斗队的训练与战备（A division is the primary tactical headquarters for operations.Each division headquarters has training and readiness authority BCTs）
◆如，第101空降师（常规陆军），第40师（陆军国民警卫队）（101st Abn Div(Regular Army),40th Div(Army National Guard)）
九、64个旅战斗队（Brigade combat team(BCT)）
◆有三类旅战斗队，装甲，步兵，斯特赖克（There are three types of BCTs:Armored(ABCT),Infantry(IBCT),and Stryker(SBCT)）
◆如，第82空降师第1旅战斗队（1st BCT 82d Abn Div(1BCT)），第2步兵师第3旅战斗队（3d BCT 2d ID(SBCT)）
十、98个多专业支持旅（Multifunctional support brigade）
◆多专业支持旅为旅战斗队提供支持，组织编制各异。通常，配属至师，也可能配属至军，或者联合部队、多国部队司令部。一个远征保障旅通常下设若干保障旅，为一个地区提供支持（A multifunctional support brigade provides support to BCTs.Organization varies.Normally,attached to a division,but may be under a corps,or a joint or multinational headquarters.An ESC normally commands sustainment brigades and provides support on an area basis）
◆5种旅，分别为：战斗航空旅、机动加强旅、战场监视旅、保障旅、火力旅（5 types of brigades:CAB,MEB,BFSB,sustainment,fires）
十一、131个专业支持旅（Functional support brigade）
◆是指提供单一专业或能力支持的旅或大队。通常为战区、军、师提供支持，组织架构各异（A functional support brigade is a brigade or group that provides a single function or capability.These brigades can provide support for a theater,corps,or division,depending uponn haow each is tailored.The organization varies extensively）
◆如，防空炮兵，工程，宪兵，信号，爆炸物处理，医疗，区域支持大队，战区航空（ADA,engineer,MP,singal,EOD,medical,regional support groups,theater aviation）
十二、28个特殊专业支持旅（Special functional support brigade）
◆是指小型的旅或大队，为旅以上提供加强（A special functional support brigade is a small brigade or group that augments echelon above brigade headquarters and manages Title 10 requirements）
◆如，陆军战场支持旅，合同支持旅，太空部队，战区航空保障维修大队（AFSB,CSB,Space,TASM-G）
十三、24个特种部队（Special operations unit and force）
◆是指旅、大队或团，为美军特种作战司令部提供常规部队支持或配属行动（Special operations units and forces are brigades,groups,and regiments that support the conventional forces or operate under U.S. Special Operations Command）
◆如，游骑兵，特种部队，特种航空部队（Ranger,SF,and Special Operations Aviation）
十四、1个礼仪部队（Ceremonial unit）
◆为国家陆军纪念碑提供支持，是作战部队的一部分（The Old Guard provides national Army ceremonial support and has ooperational commitments.It is part of the operating force）
